CitizenDetroit educates residents to be fully engaged in the democratic life of the City of Detroit and provide residents with reputable non-partisan trustworthy information to make informed public policy decisions.

CitizenDetroit ensures Detroiters are informed with unbiased, fact-based information so that they can engage with one another and encourages them to act using methods that address their needs and values.

1. Policy Lab: CitizenDetroit conducts research and facilitates community learning on policies and government structures impacting the lives of Detroit citizens.

2. Civic Exchange: Detroit citizens discuss and share their opinions about policies, our communities, and our government at CitizenDetroit events and through our unique game-based learning activities.

3. EngageD: CitizenDetroit trains and provides opportunities for Detroit citizens to mobilize and act in their own interests through the civic and political process.

4. Civic Services: CitizenDetroit builds models and tools to train other organizations on Detroit policy issues and history.
